Sometimes Don’t You Just Want To Scream!

One thing I promised myself when I started writing was to always keep it real, always speak my truth and never mask anything that I feel at any given time.
My motto in life is ‘positivity spawns positivity’ but I know that many of you would agree in the real world there are days when trying to stay upbeat, inspirational and positive just doesn’t cut it, there are days where I just want to scream, today is one of those days.
Have you ever had days where your entire body is yearning for you to scream at the top of your voice. Your unclear of what you want to scream about but there’s just this overwhelming need to let out a very high pitch noise that can help release the negative energy that’s been stored up in your body for a period of time.
The Cry For Help

In my world my need to scream is almost always followed by a releasing of tears. I used to think that crying was a sign of weakness and that if I asked for help people would think that I wasn’t coping and judge me in a negative way or even worse feel sorry for me.
Thankfully after years of counselling I have come to understand that ‘tears are to heal the heart and cleanse the soul’. A cry for help is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength, it’s a release of negative energy that has to come out in order for a clearer picture to be painted and a small healing step forward to be taken. Celebrate these moments as it means that you are allowing yourself to bring about positive change and take control of your destiny.
Let It Out!
If you have read my earlier blogs then you know that music is my passion, being able to sing gives me a way of expressing all my emotions, especially when I am singing to the Lord.
Remember what I said earlier, ‘tears are to heal the heart and cleanse the soul’ but make sure you use crying and or screaming as a release to move forward and not as a chain to bind you to negativity otherwise you will continuously live in a place of depression, anxiety and or fear.
Today I would like you to encourage yourself and others and share what ways you are able to allow your pain to be released in a way that can turn it into a positive stride forward.
I will leave you with a video of how I release and give thanks.
Stay blessed
